Recently I've been doing Insanity workout. ‘Push push….’ is the one repeated throughout the whole workout but echoes me a lot with my value. In design, I love pushing myself to answer ‘why’ - Why is it the right focus? Is it data informed? Is it metric driven? Why should we choose this? What’s the pros and cons? Why does this happen and how can we make it better? I wanna ensure we’re goal-driven - thinking strategically about short-term and long-term focus. I wanna ensure every design decision has strong rationality behind it. I wanna ensure we make reflections and always push it to be perfect with the inherent drive and determination.

In my daily life, you can find me thinking about ‘why’ all the time. The moment of discovering underlying formality or commonality between seemingly different things delights me. The moment of identifying the gap and skills I could grow makes me thrilled.

As for fields of interests, I particularly love and have experience in AI, AR, cross device transition, multimodal interactions and accessibility. You can find me thinking about tradeoffs of trust and transparency, ethics vs bias, personalization vs consistency, user control vs automation. Reading CHI papers is also a habit of mine, to keep abreast of latest technologies, but furthermore, to dig into how it works and apply it to solve real challenges.
